Unicollege offers two distinct programs: For-credit and Non For-credit Pre-College Programs, providing students with flexible options to suit their academic goals.
For-credit Programs

Students can choose to enroll in for-credit programs and earn ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits, which are issued by Unicollege, an institution accredited by the Italian Ministry of University and Research. These credits are transferable worldwide, enhancing the student’s academic portfolio and facilitating seamless integration into future university programs. Additionally, students have the option to request a detailed transcript specifying their acquired credits, either through Unicollege or one of its American partner institutions, ensuring direct recognition by any American university.

Non For-credit Programs

Students may opt for non-for-credit programs, which still contribute to their academic journey and university applications by providing a diploma listing completed courses. Regardless of the chosen path, Unicollege ensures that all participants receive valuable credentials that support their successive academic endeavors. Tuition fees for for-credit and non-for-credit programs vary and are detailed in the designated section below, allowing students to make informed decisions based on their educational needs and financial considerations.

How Do I Design my personal Pre-College Experience: from Course Selection to Tuition and Length of Stay?

A pre-college program at Unicollege operates through a flexible and student-centered self-design curriculum approach, allowing participants to tailor their academic experience to their individual needs and schedules. Candidates can enroll in courses with durations of either 18 or 36 hours, which grant 1.5 American credits (3 ECTS) and 3 American credits (6 ECTS) respectively. Despite their differing lengths, these courses can span from as short as one week to a full semester of three months. To ensure a seamless fit with their plans, applicants must specify the duration of their stay in Italy and select courses that align with that timeframe. Each term, Unicollege offers a diverse array of courses across all academic areas—humanities, STEM, and general education—which are rotationally covered and guaranteed every semester, ensuring that students have access to a wide variety of subjects regardless of when they enroll. Once candidates have determined the length of their stay and their arrival date, they are assigned an academic tutor who collaborates with them to design a personalized curriculum. This tailored approach takes into account the student’s specific economic, intellectual, and temporal needs, ensuring that their educational journey is both meaningful and aligned with their academic and personal goals. By providing this customizable framework, Unicollege empowers students to create a unique and enriching pre-college experience that supports their future academic endeavors and personal growth.
